Planet One signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and the Ministry of Energy (Sierra Leone) to own and operate a 50 MW solar plant across Makoth, Port Loko, Bo and Kono. In what will be the largest integrated solar project in Sierra Leone, Planet Solar will supply power to the national utility company for a period of 25 years as per the terms of the PPA.
