Mr. Sankaran comes with over 33 years of experience in financial services sector, which includes 22 years in the banking industry & over 10 years in Investment Banking in the areas of M&A, strategy, business planning, private equity and structured debt financing. Specializing in projects fundraising for projects in GCC and MENA, he has successfully raised capital of over USD 3.0 billion in the last ten years. He brings in his expertise in project structuring for PPP models across sectors covering MENA & India. Instrumental in securing and implementing the first PPP project for Government of Dubai, he has gained extensive experience in executing a broad range of strategic as well as private equity and capital market transactions for companies across a range of sectors including core infrastructure, hospitality, education, agriculture and manufacturing. He did his MBA from Delhi University and holds a Master's degree in Computer Application.
