Dr Richa Arora is responsible for the strategic oversight, financial sustainability, and academic direction of the Higher Education business unit at Planet One including the University of Stirling and Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) - RAK campus. Dr. Richa is also spearheading the digital university initiative of Planet One. She has extensive experience in higher education segment, especially in the area of institutional building, and has spearheaded efforts to establish and develop Planet One’s Center of Excellence in UAE and the African continent. She has also launched a new innovation hub and lead a city-wide team of senior stakeholders through the Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme. Prior to this, Dr Richa Arora has been the Group CEO and the Director of a University having campuses in South Africa and India. During this time, she led significant revenue growth, ushered in academic digitization and improved quality & impact of research. Dr Richa is a Professor of Marketing, having studied for her PhD and M-Phil in Marketing. She is a highly regarded researcher with over 30 research papers and three edited volumes published. She has been invited to deliver over 30 keynote/plenary talks at international conferences and has been invited as a visiting professor to universities around the world.
